The Verband Deutscher Wirtschaftsingenieure (VWI) is the German national IEM organisation for students and professionals, and consists of 42 student groups. Among other the VWI organise a case study competition called kreatiFallstudien and the VWI-5 Kampf.
BEST is an organisation managed by students which strives to make technology students more international minded by encouraging their mobility and intercultural communication. Founded in 1989 BEST is currently present in over 90 universities in almost all countries across Europe. We offer 3 main services to European students of technology : academic and nonacademic courses, support to start an international career and involvement in the European educational system by participation in several thematic networks from the European Commission.
Electrical Engineering Students' European Association is an apolitical, non-governmental and non-profit organisation which targets and trains through its activities students from electrical profile Universities, Institutes and Technical Schools in Europe. The association was founded in the Netherlands, in 1986. Nowadays, EESTEC is present in 28 countries and 53 Universities across Europe with over 4000 members of whom 3000 are currently active, and inderectly, EESTEC is addressing all students in thefaculties EESTEC exists.
The European Pharmaceutical Students' Association (EPSA) is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-political and non-religious association which represents 42 Pharmacy Students' Associations from 35 countries, representing around 160.000 pharmacy students all around Europe. Its main objective is 'to develop the interests and opinions of European pharmacy students and to encourage contact and collaboration between them'. Actually, EPSA's motto '"Bringing Pharmacy, Knowledge and Students Together" reflects its will to promote the ideas and opinions of all the students of Pharmacy in Europe in order to improve the Education, the Pharmaceutical Profession and the Scientific Advances regarding Pharmacy. EPSA has its headquarters in Brussels, Belgium in PGEU's offices.
As the name implies, the field of Industrial Engineering deals with the engineering of industrial or industrious undertakings. Modern Industrial Engineering is concerned with the integration of resources and processes into cohesive strategies, structures and systems for the effective and efficient production of quality goods and services. The vision of the Southern African Institute for Industrial Engineering
is to be a vibrant, learned society, representing and promoting all Industrial Engineers in Southern Africa.
