FOR LOCAL GROUPS

Event Crisis Support

Sometimes events or projects run into serious trouble due to unexpected financial issues. Event Crisis Support exists to help Local Groups keep their initiatives alive when sudden circumstances put them at risk.

  • Emergency financial support for events or projects in crisis.
  • Provided as a loan, guarantee, or grant, depending on the case.
  • For situations not covered by central ESTIEM reserves, especially when the Local Group carries the risk.
  • Supported events or projects cannot generate profit; any profit reduces the support accordingly.
  • Unexpected loss of income or significant extra costs.
  • Without support, the event or project would not happen or be seriously compromised.
  • The organising team has no realistic way to resolve the situation alone.
  • Funding availability within the Club of 100.
  • Clearly explain the crisis and the financial need.
  • Provide a clear and realistic budget overview.
  • Respect the conditions linked to the type of support granted.
  • Meant only for exceptional, unforeseen situations.
  • Not a replacement for general ESTIEM reserves.

Made possible by

the Club of 100

Ever wondered how all of the above is possible? Meet the Club of 100 — a group of up to 100 supporters who believe in ESTIEM and its impact. By committing to donate at least €500 per year for 5 years, they help make scholarships possible.

Purpose

The main goal of the Club of 100 is twofold: to enable activities that wouldn’t otherwise be possible, and to ensure equal opportunities for ESTIEMers who might not be able to stay active due to financial reasons.
